To get there, find the<span lang=\"en\">\u00a0narrow, rocky path that directs you down to the <strong>Foradada<\/strong> &#8211; a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/hike\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hike<\/a><\/strong> that takes visitors all the way\u00a0<\/span>to the bottom of the <strong>waterfall<\/strong> where the water flows into a pond.\u00a0At certain times of day, the sun\u00a0shines through the opening in the surrounding cliff, creating a sparkling pool of light in the water like a scene from a film.\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">The water, which falls from a height of 15 meters, is surrounded by large stone walls and moss to give it a secluded, hidden feeling. From <span lang=\"en\">the end of the <strong>Ferm\u00edn Arrudi\u00a0trail<\/strong>, hikers will<\/span>\u00a0pass by two hermitages,\u00a0<strong>Santa Magdalena\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Sant Joan de F\u00e0bregues<\/strong>. The start of the river comes from the majestic <strong>Fuentes del Llobregat<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>waterfall<\/strong> in the village <strong>Castellar de n&#8217;Hug<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a s<\/span><span lang=\"en\">hort and easy walk to reach the <strong>waterfall,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">downhill on a paved path with stairs to the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/the-natural-side-of-barcelona-collserola-mountains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mountain<\/a><\/strong> where the <strong>waterfall<\/strong> forms the <strong>Llobregat<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Its surroundings are spectacular, full of shade and natural beauty with the rapidly flowing water hitting the<\/span><span lang=\"en\">\u00a0limestones below. While the stories date back many years,\u00a0<strong>Gorg de la Malatosca<\/strong>\u00a0still feels magical with its stunning scenery, forest surroundings, and small pool. Visitors can walk along the route known the Way of Iron and Coal, an old railway path outside the town of\u00a0<strong>Sant Joan de Les Abadesses<\/strong>\u00a0to reach the remarkable\u00a0<strong>waterfall\u00a0<\/strong>about 200 hundred meters down.
