In the\u00a020th century, however, the city stood out as the leader in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/weekend-getaways-catalonia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Catalonia<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s industrial revolution. With its many <strong>textile mills<\/strong> that can still be seen today, it was a major producer of wool in Spain. Today, the city has a population of about 208,000 and continues to be one of Catalonia&#8217;s most important cities. Start by seeing one of the most impressive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/modernist-hotels-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>modernist<\/strong><\/a> buildings in the city, the Hotel Su\u00eds. Designed by Juli Batllevell, its beautiful facade stands out with floral designs, mosaics, and impressive balcony railings. Continue the modernist tour by visiting the\u00a0Lluch Office. Also designed by Batllevell, the intricate stucco work and beautiful ceramic mosaics will impress any visitor. The building used to be an old textile factory, but is now the <strong>Sabadell<\/strong> Citizens Information Centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You should also put the Sant Felix de Sabadell Church\u00a0on your list. As the archpriest church of Sabadell, it&#8217;s located in the city center nearby the town hall and features some impressive architecture. If you like the Baroque style, the <strong>Sant F\u00e8lix Bell Tower\u00a0<\/strong>is a must-see with its eight-sided floor plan and unique sections made of stone and fired brick. By bus, just take the 220 from the\u00a0<span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fabraipuig.cat\/inici\/\"><span class=\"tdu-stop-name\">Estaci\u00f3 d&#8217;Autobusos de Fabra i Puig<\/span><\/span>\u00a0towards <span class=\"tdu-headsign\">Josep Tura &#8211; Cam\u00ed Mas d&#8217;en Cisa and change at\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"tdu-stop-name\">Pl. de Moss\u00e8n Clap\u00e9s for the A1 towards <span class=\"tdu-headsign\">Av. de Matadepera. The easiest way to get there, however, is by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/travel-spain-train\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>train<\/strong><\/a>. Simply take the S2 train from Plaza Catalunya to Sabadell Plaza Major.
