No <strong>audition<\/strong> is necessary and you don&#8217;t even need to know how to read music! The purpose of the choir is to simply get together and sing while exploring different styles of music like<strong> jazz<\/strong>, <strong>pop<\/strong>, <strong>rock<\/strong>, <strong>blues<\/strong>, and <strong>more<\/strong>. The <strong>Barcelona English Choir<\/strong> meets for weekly <strong>sessions<\/strong> to practice and also takes part in public <strong>performances<\/strong>, <strong>events<\/strong>, and even flash mobs! You can sign up for the choir online, as well as view the schedule for practices and sessions. This <strong>choir<\/strong> is free to join but you must submit an application and audition as this choir offers its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/soho-house-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">members<\/a><\/strong> more serious training both in music, <strong>vocals<\/strong>, and performance techniques. The <strong>UPF Choir<\/strong> is free but to be a member you must commit to attending 75% of <strong>rehearsals<\/strong> throughout the year, as well as events and performances. The <strong>choir<\/strong> runs from the end of September through June and meets on Wednesday nights from 7 to 10 PM.
