This collection also includes beautiful works in metal and sculptures in wood and stone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MNAC<\/strong>&#8216;s collection of\u00a0<strong>Gothic Art<\/strong>\u00a0includes works by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/catalan-painters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">painters<\/a> such as LLu\u00eds Borrass\u00e0, Bernat Martorell and Jaume Huguet,\u00a0and sculptures by artists like Jaume Cascalls and Pere Sanglada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Their\u00a0<strong>Renaissance and Baroque<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Art<\/strong> collection presents works by Ayne Bru, Antoni Viladomat, Joan de Burgunya and also works by international artists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Visitors will recognize many of the artists whose work is displayed in the\u00a0<strong>Modern Art<\/strong> collection of\u00a0<strong>MNAC<\/strong>, which includes names like Pablo Picasso, Antoni Gaud\u00ed, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/joan-miro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joan Mir\u00f3<\/a>. This collection features a number of works created in different styles during the 19th and 20th century.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MNAC<\/strong> has a very vast collection of\u00a0<strong>Drawings, Prints and Posters<\/strong> with over 120,000 works by artists such as Mari\u00e0 Fortuny, Ramon Casas i Carb\u00f3,\u00a0Th\u00e9ophile Alexandre Steinlen, and Antoni Clav\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0<strong>museum&#8217;s Photography<\/strong> <strong>collection<\/strong> is comprised of over 40,000 photos that were taken during the 19th and 20th centuries, with works by August\u00ed Centelles, Joan Colom and Oriol Maspons, among many others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0<strong>museum<\/strong> also has a\u00a0<strong>Numismatics<\/strong> collection with 135,000 coins from a variety of centuries, as well as medals and other decorations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Museu Nacional d&#8217;Art de Catalunya\u00a0<\/strong>also receives <strong>temporary exhibits<\/strong> of photography, paintings and sculptures.
