It is best known for the huge range of activities, events and courses that it offers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a whole, Barcelona has a lot of cultural centres. These centres offer a great space for exhibitions, courses and workshops, as well as interesting one-off events and activities. The most popular centres are the <strong>CCCB<\/strong> in El Raval and <strong>Born Cultural Centre<\/strong>, located under the amazing iron structure of Born market. But there are many others dotted throughout the city which often go unnoticed by tourists. The family eventually sold it privately, in 1964, and years later, in 1981, the city bought <strong>Casa Elizalde.<\/strong>\u00a0It was opened to the public with exhibitions and later, lectures and conferences.
