Dedicated to the most important of Ireland’s<\/strong> patron saints, Saint Patrick’s Day<\/strong> is celebrated all around the world. Every year, on the 17th of March, green is the colour and the streets and pubs of practically every major city on the planet are the stage for festive parades<\/strong>, traditional music and, of course, a whole lot of drinking (with whisky, beer and cider being the blessed liquids of choice). If you happen to be in Barcelona<\/strong> on that day, one could say you’ve got the luck of the Irish, because, other than Ireland<\/strong> itself, it’s hard to think of a better place to be when it comes to celebrating Paddy’s Day<\/strong>.
