It is, in fact, an extension of the city which began being built\u00a0 in 1850 and finished (although this is relative) during the 20th century. Similar to the streets of New York, the streets in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> are organized in grids. To top everything off, the route houses two of Gaudi\u2019s <b>architectural<\/b> creations: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casabatllo.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Casa Batll\u00f3<\/b><\/a> and <strong>Casa Mil\u00e0<\/strong>, commonly known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lapedrera.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><b>La Pedrera<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Sagrada_Familia\"><\/span>The Sagrada Familia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the right side of <strong>Eixample,<\/strong> you will find the most renowned landmark of <strong>Barcelona:<\/strong> Antoni Gaud\u00ed\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagradafamilia.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><b>Sagrada Familia<\/b><\/a>. This Art Nouveau-inspired church started being built in 1882\u00a0and is still being built today, with an estimated finish date in 2028.
