You&#8217;ll need your own transport to get there, as it&#8217;s quite a walk from the nearest metro station, but definitely worth the trip.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_it_like\"><\/span>What is it like?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is\u00a0<strong>the 4th oldest functioning observatory in the world<\/strong>. Built in 1904, it stands up high at <strong>415 meters above sea level<\/strong>, looking out over the city below. They will also show you around the modernist hall, the library and the panoramic terrace, as well as give you access to the <strong>two main telescopes<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span>Night observations take place on Fridays and Saturdays, from October to June.
