With this in mind, <strong>UNESCO<\/strong>, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, recognizes as <strong>World Heritage Sites<\/strong> the buildings, monuments and places that it deems as important to preserve from a cultural and historical standpoint.
