Some are merely called \u2018<strong>Irish Pubs<\/strong>\u2019 but there isn\u2019t anything particularly <strong>Irish<\/strong> about them, apart from a picture of a four leaf clover stuck in the window, but others are the real deal. The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegeorgepayne.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">George Payne Irish Bar<\/a><\/strong> and moreover, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pflaherty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Flaherty\u2019s<\/a> <\/strong>on Carrer de Josep Pijoan, are by far the best two <strong>Irish pubs<\/strong> in the city. The owners are <strong>Irish expats<\/strong> themselves, and the bars serve all of the favorites, from<strong> beers<\/strong> and <strong>Guinness<\/strong>\u00a0to <strong>Magners<\/strong> and <strong>Irish whiskey<\/strong>. The two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/barcelonas-free-pub-crawls\/\" target=\"_blank\">pubs<\/a> are fairly touristy, but a lot of the visitors are Irish\/British themselves. Granted\u00a0it isn\u2019t often, but <strong>hurling<\/strong> has been known to grace the screens there! There are <strong>street parties<\/strong> and special club nights where, of course, the theme is \u2018to dress in green and get as drunk off Guinness as humanly possible!\u2019 The party goes long into the early hours of the morning and it is fantastic for anyone of any nationality to feel <strong>Irish<\/strong> whilst in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It\u2019s hard to be an expat or a visitor sometimes, feeling the only piece of<strong> Ireland<\/strong> in this city is in your own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">flat<\/a>, but there are other opportunities out there to get a taste of the homeland.
