First, he studied at <strong>La Llotja School of Fine Arts<\/strong> (today called Reial Acad\u00e8mia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi) for about 2 years, the same school that\u00a0<strong>Mir\u00f3<\/strong> would later attend. At age\u00a015, Pablo Picasso worked on his first <strong>art studio<\/strong>\u00a0on Carrer de la Plata, nowadays a tapas bar with a big reproduction of one of the <strong>artist\u2019s most famous paintings<\/strong> in its fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1897, Picasso spent 2 years in <strong>Madrid<\/strong> to attend the best school in Spain, the <strong>San Fernando Academy of Fine Arts.<\/strong>\u00a0But his rebellion brought a distaste for formal studies, so he spent most of his time walking around the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museodelprado.es\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" class=\"broken_link\">Prado Museum<\/a>,<\/strong> studying the masterpieces of great artists such as Velazquez, El Greco and Goya. In here, he\u00a0was exposed to <strong>progressive art<\/strong> and <strong>cultural expression<\/strong> embedded in society. At this moment in his life, entering adulthood, the city became his <strong>muse,<\/strong> and <strong>Picasso<\/strong> created thousands of drawings that can be seen today at the Barcelona\u2019s <strong>Picasso Museum.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was also in the beginning of the 20th century that <strong>Pablo Picasso<\/strong> took a trip outside Spain to visit Paris. When he returned to his home, the fresh view, the rested eyes, and the influences brought him the epiphany that would become the well known \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Picasso%27s_Blue_Period\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">blue period<\/a>\u201d of his <strong>painting,<\/strong>\u00a0a collection of works in <strong>blue tones<\/strong> with a <strong>mournful<\/strong> note.
