The vegetation was, however, chosen by the <strong>French gardener Delvalet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Laribal_Gardens\"><\/span>Laribal Gardens<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is said to be <strong>one of Montju\u00efc\u2019s Park&#8217;s pearls<\/strong>. Filled with cascades, water is the soul of this garden, designed by <strong>Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier<\/strong> and <strong>Nicolau M. Rubi\u00f3 Tudur\u00ed.<\/strong>\u00a0The vegetation in the <strong>gardens<\/strong> is diversified and mostly exotic. Take the time to explore every small detail of the art piece that is this garden.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Thematic_gardens\"><\/span>Thematic gardens<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Every one of these <strong>gardens<\/strong> is specialized in different plants. <strong>Moss\u00e8n Cinto Verdaguer<\/strong>, for example, is dedicated to aquatic plants. Have you guessed the theme of this garden yet? With a <strong>typically Mediterranean vegetation<\/strong>, <strong>Cervantes Park<\/strong>\u00a0has an explosion of colors that last almost the whole year, making this place perfect to boost everyone\u2019s disposition.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mossen_Costa_i_Llobera_Gardens\"><\/span>Moss\u00e8n Costa i Llobera Gardens<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 6.5 hectares of this garden are extended all the way up on <strong>Montju\u00efc Mountain<\/strong>. Specialized in <strong>cacti and succulent plants<\/strong>, this garden is one of the most important ones in Europe regarding this type of vegetation. Here you can find around 800 different species from all over the world, with particular emphasis on a 200 years old <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xaysqwFoVOE&amp;ab_channel=thetruegrimghost\">Oreocereus celsianus<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Urbanistic_gardens\"><\/span>Urbanistic gardens<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These refer to all the <strong>public gardens<\/strong> existent in the city and are, therefore, the most common type. There you can sit, read a book or enjoy the environment around you while you go for a walk.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Portola_Gardens\"><\/span>Portol\u00e0 Gardens<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This <strong>residential garden<\/strong> is a very discrete area protected by a surrounding construction. Half of the garden works as a\u00a0balcony over the other part, where you can see a fountain covered with Arabic-inspired tiles. The same tiles cover the benches, where you can sit and enjoy the <strong>gardenias<\/strong> and the <strong>palm trees<\/strong>. The garden is organized by layers all the way up on\u00a0<strong>Montju\u00efc\u2019s Mountain<\/strong>. And it one of the biggest parks of <strong>Barcelona <\/strong>as well. It has a <strong>stunning view<\/strong> over the city, especially if you take the time to climb to the<strong> San Joan belvedere<\/strong>. Another cool thing about this park is the bridge built in 1991 to connect it to the <strong>M\u00fchlberg Street<\/strong>, an amazing construction that may scare those who are not very comfortable with heights.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turo_de_la_Peira_Park\"><\/span>Tur\u00f3 de la Peira Park<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the top of its 140 meters above the sea level, you can get a <strong>spectacular view<\/strong> over <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>, from <strong>Collserola Sierra<\/strong> to <strong>Barcelona\u2019s coastline<\/strong>. The sea is bluer from this viewpoint and you can relax and breathe the intense and refreshing smell of a\u00a0place surrounded by <strong>pine trees<\/strong>. Do not miss it. It is worth your time.
