You might be intrigued by the name, as you won\u2019t find a water feature here. However, the local water company previously owned this land. This park has several playgrounds, a place to play paddle ball and even an area for picnics. Right next to the park there is a large area that\u2019s nice and dog friendly. As the greenery is fairly dense it\u2019s also good to escape the sun or have a romantic evening. This park can be found right by metro stop <strong>Alfons X<\/strong> and is accessible by Line 4 (yellow).<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parc_del_Centre_del_Poblenou\"><\/span>Parc del Centre del Poblenou<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_72444\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-72444\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-72444\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Parc-del-Centre-del-Poblenou-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Picture from visualhunt\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-72444\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by\u00a0Visualhunt<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you want a park that\u2019s a mix of modern art, nature and industrial ruins then <strong>Parc del Centre del Poblenou<\/strong> is perfect for you! In fact this is one of Barcelona\u2019s newest parks and was opened in 2008. The industrial ruins actually come from the textile factory that was one of the many common in Poblenou. Here you\u2019ll find a few playgrounds, a basketball court, and even Barcelona\u2019s history museum <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/museuhistoria.bcn.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">MUHBA<\/a><\/strong>. This park is just a 15 min walk from Parc del Clot. Then <strong>Parc de L&#8217;Espanya Industrial<\/strong> is right for you. In fact, this also used to be a textile factory and there are still some factory ruins remaining. Here you&#8217;ll also discover a metal dragon sculpture that&#8217;s also a slide for children. This sculpture was made by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barcelonaturisme.com\/wv3\/en\/page\/529\/.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Andr\u00e9s Nagel<\/a> in 1929.
