Over time the expansion of European civilization replaced vibrant ecosystems with cities and greatly diminished the wildlife. However, there is still some wildlife remaining in Catalonia. In fact, if you know where to look you\u2019ll find a plethora of wildlife. Just walking around Barcelona, you\u2019ll often be greeted by the squawking of <strong>parrots<\/strong>, which live around the palm trees. However, even if you go around <strong>Collserola<\/strong> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/tibidabo-amusement-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tibidabo<\/strong><\/a> you\u2019ll find some animals like <strong>wild<\/strong> <strong>boars<\/strong> and rabbits. It\u2019s important to note that the wild boars can be aggressive, they become especially protective if they have piglets.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_71583\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71583\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-71583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/brown-bears-300x200.png\" alt=\"Photo by Visualhunt\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-71583\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo via\u00a0Visualhunt<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you go to the <strong>Pyrenees<\/strong>, you can find all manner of wildlife from <strong>Brown bears<\/strong>, <strong>Pyrenean chamois<\/strong>, <strong>Red Deer<\/strong>, <strong>Egyptian Vultures<\/strong> and plenty more animals. Here you\u2019ll also find some nice parks to explore the natural wildlife. One such place is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/molloparc.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Moll\u00f3 Park<\/a><\/strong>, which is just on the border to France and near to Olot. It costs 14\u20ac for adults and is open from 10:30 to 18:00. The best way to get here is by car as the public transport is limited in the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since, the 1970s there has been a continuing <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.skiwalkcyclepyrenees.com\/the-pyrenees-mountain-range\/the-pyreneen-bear\/\">effort<\/span> to protect and increase the bear population. However, this has been a difficult effort as local farmers are concerned for their livestock. In fact you should be <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.blogtelopia.co.uk\/dangerous-mediterranean-sea-creatures.html\">careful<\/span> of the <strong>jellyfish<\/strong> and <strong>sea urchins<\/strong> as they give a nasty sting, although neither of them are deadly. If you wish to try out diving it\u2019s recommended that you take a class first and buy the proper equipment.
