Twenty minutes by metro from the city centre, it\u2019s very much worth a visit. You will not be disappointed, the arched walkways and small terraces overlooking the square along with the pink and amber hues of the buildings will all add to the romance.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Santa_Maria_del_Mar\"><\/span>Santa Maria del Mar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This <strong>church<\/strong> was built at the height of <strong>Catalonia<\/strong>&#8216;s maritime and mercantile preeminence, between 1329 to 1383. It is an imposing example of <strong>Catalan<\/strong> <strong>Gothic<\/strong> <strong>architecture<\/strong>.
