Barcelona\u2019s boutique<\/strong> theatre<\/strong>, Sala Beckett<\/a>, has just recently made a move from the neighbourhood of Gr\u00e0cia to Sant Marti. With them, they have brought a flavour for theatrical<\/strong> creation<\/strong> and experimentation that comes in the form of plays<\/strong> you can watch and courses<\/strong> you can partake in. They are keen on building their creative<\/strong> community<\/strong> and offer a warm welcome to anyone interested in contemporary<\/strong> theatre<\/strong>. This is a meeting place for playwrights, directors, actors and the general public.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll see through their programming that they have a special emphasis on new forms of dramatic<\/strong> writing<\/strong> and also a true respect for the art form they tout.<\/p>\n

Since 2011 Sala<\/strong> Beckett<\/strong> \/ Obrador Internacional de Dramat\u00fargia has existed as a Foundation recognised by the Catalan Government. They have a board of trustees comprised of twelve playwrights. They have been established as a theatre since 1989.<\/p>\n
