You\u2019ll find that almost all providers offer both. In most cases the contract plans make sense if you want to get a free or reduced phone. Otherwise, if you already have a phone, a pay-as-you-go plan is likely preferred.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another reason you may want to get a contract is to benefit from the <strong>bundles<\/strong> that include TV and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/internet-wifi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Internet<\/a>. In case you just got a new flat, chances are you may want this. The most popular are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/masmovil.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Masmovil<\/a><\/strong> (Orange network), <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pepephone.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Pepephone<\/a><\/strong> (Movistar network), or <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yoigo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Yoigo<\/a><\/strong>. As mentioned earlier, the no-frills plans tend to just include monthly data. All other services like calls, SMS, and <strong>roaming<\/strong> are often extra. If they offer \u2018free calls\u2019, be aware this usually means a minimum connection fee between 0,10-0,20\u20ac and is just for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, you\u2019ll pay a standard fee. Most times SMS will cost around 0,10\u20ac per SMS. Finally, inside the EU the calls\/SMS and roaming fee costs are <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/digital-single-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">standard<\/a>. However, outside the EU the fees vary based on your plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whichever plan you\u2019ve chosen there is a fairly high chance that there might be hiccups with your service. Unfortunately, in Barcelona, many of the providers suffer from rather poor <strong>customer service<\/strong>.
