(This step can be done in advance.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gently <strong>heat the stock<\/strong> in a large saucepan and leave to simmer. Meanwhile, <strong>heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil<\/strong> in a large pan and <strong>add the cloves of garlic<\/strong> to infuse the oil with a smoky garlic flavor. When they are golden brown, remove the cloves from the pan and discard.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_81159\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81159\" class=\"wp-image-81159\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Fideua.jpg\" alt=\"fideua\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><p id=\"caption-attachment-81159\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Photo by calafellvalo via Visualhunt<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Add the prawns,<\/strong> cook for a minute or two until they are pink, remove from the pan and set aside for later. <strong>Add the squid<\/strong> to the pan and leave to cook for around 3 minutes.&nbsp;Next, <strong>stir in the grated tomatoes<\/strong> and leave to cook for a further 5 minutes until thick and sticky. Add the <strong>piment\u00f3n dulce<\/strong> <strong>and saffron<\/strong> and mix well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Add the <em>fideus<\/em><\/strong> and&nbsp;coat in the tomatoey mixture and then ladle in half of the stock. Carefully <strong>place the mussels around the pan<\/strong> and then pour in the remaining stock. <strong>Season with salt and pepper<\/strong>, then bring the pan to a boil and leave to&nbsp;bubble away&nbsp;for around 5 minutes.&nbsp;<strong>Add the prawns<\/strong> and leave to cook for a further 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Remove the pan from the hea<\/strong>t, cover and let it stand for 3-5 minutes.
