Hidden away\u00a0at the top of Torre Baro opposite the\u00a0<strong>Castell de Torre Bar\u00f3, <\/strong>it<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>is a fantastic setting to enjoy the glorious panoramic views. The sights are a little different than those at <strong>Montjuic<\/strong> or <strong>Tibidabo<\/strong> and offering visitors the chance to look at some of\u00a0the lesser-known parts of the city.<\/p>\n<div class=\"share\">\n<h2 class=\"title-page\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parc_de_la_Guineueta\"><\/span>Parc de la Guineueta<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Parc de la Guineueta<\/strong>\u00a0is another great\u00a0park in <strong>Nou Barris<\/strong>. With large\u00a0green spaces and a gorgeous lake in the centre &#8211; the park has become popular with locals who flock in, especially at weekends, for a nice stroll. There are\u00a0plenty of trees and shady areas if you want to sit in the shade and relax and there is also a network of pathways that take you around the beautiful park if you want a nice brisk walk.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"title-page\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parc_Central_de_Nou_Barris\"><\/span>Parc Central de Nou Barris<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_68751\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68751\" class=\"wp-image-68751 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Sign--300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Sign\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-68751\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo credit: Oh-Barcelona.com via Visual Hunt \/ CC BY<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inaugurated in 1999, <strong>Parc Central de Nou Barris\u00a0<\/strong>is\u00a0the main park in the district and one of the most beautiful parks in the city. Awarded the\u00a0<strong><i>International Urban Landscape <\/i>prize for architecture in 2007,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0the park is one of the largest in the city and is full of\u00a0interesting and quirky designs. There is a network of water running trough the park which comes from the two large lakes &#8211; these\u00a0form\u00a0large tranquil pools as well as a series of impressive fountains. The park also houses some of the district&#8217;s most important and culturally significant buildings such as the former <strong>Santa Creu Psychiatric\u00a0Hospital<\/strong> &#8211; which has now become the home of the Library of Nou Barris and the Municipal Council of the District of Nou Barris.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">All in all the district\u00a0of<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"> Nou Barris<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"> is one the most interesting ones Barcelona.
