On weekends, holidays, and during the summer, dogs can be brought on the Metro and bus as long as they have a leash and muzzle and stay with their owner at all times. \u00a0Dogs are not allowed to sit on the seats or use the escalators in the stations for safety reasons. \u00a0During the week, dogs can be brought on public transport with the same rules except from the hours of 7:00-9:30 and 17:00-19:00. \u00a0For full rules and regulations, you can consult the TMB website\u00a0and learn more about traveling with pets in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restaurants\"><\/span>Restaurants<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In general, many casual restaurants in Barcelona don&#8217;t have a problem with your pet tagging along as long as you stay in the outdoor <strong>terraza<\/strong> and your animal is on a leash. \u00a0Some places are more welcoming than others though, and there are some great restaurants in Eixample that will welcome both you and your pet. \u00a0Maur Muntaner, located near the Hospital Cl\u00ednic de Barcelona, is a fantastic restaurant in which to dine and also allows animals on the terraza as long as they are on a leash. \u00a0This restaurant has been noted as being especially pet-friendly, so you are sure to have a very special dining experience. \u00a0Nearby is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gastronomiaalternativa.com\/ga-15_159-casa-julia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Casa Julia<\/a>, another Eixample favorite that is especially friendly towards pets as long as they are controlled. \u00a0Casa Julia is located on Enric Granados, a street that is known among dog owners as a place to bring your dog to play and meet some friends, as the area is well known among animal owners.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Public_parks\"><\/span>Public parks<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_68160\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68160\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-68160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Dog-park-300x194.jpg\" alt=\"Photo credit: trpnblies7 via VisualHunt.com \/ CC BY-NC-ND\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-68160\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo credit: trpnblies7 via VisualHunt.com \/ CC BY-NC-ND<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most public <strong>parks<\/strong> in Eixample allow dogs to pass through but there are a few parks that are designed with dogs and animals in mind. \u00a0Parc de l&#8217;estaci\u00f3 del Nord\u00a0is an animal-friendly park that is a great place to let your dog run around and make some other four-legged friends. \u00a0Many dog owners in Eixample bring their furry pals here to exercise and socialize with other dogs while taking in the great scenery of the area. \u00a0Also, on Avinguda Diagonal not far from Gl\u00f2ries, is the Zona para Perros, another park that is a great place to let your dog have a little more freedom and interaction with other dogs and will allow him to break free from the leash for a bit.<\/p>\n<div style=\"display: none;\"\n    class=\"kk-star-ratings kksr-valign-bottom kksr-align-left \"\n    data-id=\"68154\"\n    data-slug=\"\">\n    <div class=\"kksr-stars\">\n    <div class=\"kksr-stars-inactive\">\n            <div class=\"kksr-star\" data-star=\"1\">\n            <div class=\"kksr-icon\" style=\"width: 25px;
