Opened in 1994, this spacious and bustling restaurant is well known for serving fresh <strong>seafood<\/strong> at affordable prices. Look out for their\u00a0daily menu where you can enjoy a starter, main dish, and dessert for only \u20ac11 plus a drink for just \u20ac1.50 extra.\u00a0They also offer affordable set menus in the evenings. The contemporary interior creates a cool and relaxing environment to enjoy the delicious food. The\u00a0menu is based on local organic fresh produce, created\u00a0by acclaimed Chef Xavier Pellicer, who has\u00a0expertise and experience in traditional recipes of <strong>Catalan<\/strong> gastronomy.\u00a0\u00a0Prices might be high but so is the \u00a0quality. Prices aren&#8217;t cheap with paella costing between 18 and 22 euros, but given the location you wouldn&#8217;t expect anything less. The food is fresh and simple and the restaurant itself\u00a0has a relaxing and charming atmosphere &#8211; particularly on a summer&#8217;s evening. I had the\u00a0grilled octopus which was perfectly cooked, washed down with a refreshing glass of cava sangria. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_Sole\"><\/span>Can Sole<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Where:\u00a0<\/strong>c\/San Carles, 4 (Metro: Barceloneta)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Founded in 1904, this authentic and old-fashioned restaurant\u00a0is situated just a\u00a0two minute walk from the sea. Whilst there are no tables with a waterfront view don&#8217;t let this put you off. The food is here is genuine catalan <strong>seafood<\/strong> &#8211; expect to find freshly prepared, delicious and locally sourced food. Unlike many of the restaurants that are closer to the water this place is far less touristy, and also less expensive.
