Whether you\u2019re planning a grand wedding or a small one, this place is bound to give your guests a lot to talk about.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Barcelona Cathedral<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/sagrada-994470_960_720.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-61137\"><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-61137 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/sagrada-994470_960_720-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"church barcelona\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>The Barcelona Cathedral, which is also known as the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia is a popular destination for all tourists coming to Barcelona.\u00a0 The cathedral, like Santa Maria del Mar was constructed between the 13<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup> century.\u00a0 The ambiance of the cathedral is breathtaking.\u00a0 Even the ostensorium (a religious vessel) is elaborately decorated with\u00a0of gold and silver.\u00a0 Word has it that it\u2019s positioned on the throne of King Martin the Humane, and it was given as a donation by the King himself. \u00a0The church is also known and well admired for its 14th-century cloisters, choir stalls, and the pulpit.\u00a0 The keystones are something to behold as well.\u00a0 Because it\u2019s a popular tourist destination, everything is well kept and decorated.\u00a0 Hosting your wedding at this temple would speak volumes about your love for tradition, Catholicism and ancient architecture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sant Pau del Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This church is considered to be the oldest church in the city and will probably appeal to the more intimate and private side of a couple hosting wedding event.\u00a0 The Romanesque architecture has a small cloister and features lobular arcades with double columns.\u00a0 The capitals on the columns are decorated with animals, biblical scenes and vegetable motifs.\u00a0 More so admired for its simplicity and Greek cross plan, this place is a popular destination for pre-nuptials that are interested in the beauty of privacy, simplicity and intimate less touristy surroundings.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Villa_Option\"><\/span><strong>The\u00a0Villa Option\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For those that are interested in balancing the old with the new, choosing a beautiful villa in the Barcelona area is a popular and growing choice.\u00a0 The good thing about villas is that you can do an all in one.\u00a0 The wedding and the reception can all be held in the same place, which can take away the hassle of moving place to place with guests that aren&#8217;t from the city. \u00a0Villas in Barcelona are literally secret paradises.\u00a0 A few to consider are;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Bell Reco<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bell Reco is an impressive mansion that was built in 1940.
