For those of you wanting to spend the day with the family playing<\/strong> a little bit of golf<\/strong>, or if you would like to learn the basics, here is some information on where you can find the best family oriented<\/strong> pitch and putt locations in Barcelona<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First, a little background<\/a> <\/strong>on pitch and putt.<\/strong> Instead of taking the family through an entire golf course, which for me usually takes over 4 hours, you can take the family to a course that offers \u201cpitch and putt\u201d. A pitch and putt course is only 9 holes<\/strong>, ranging from 60 yards to 100 yards per hole. This reduces the amount of time it takes to play 9 holes and makes it a lot easier. There is no teeing up and driving the ball, hints why the course is at most 100 yards. Pitching<\/strong> is where you use a sand wedge or pitching wedge to get the ball up onto the green where the hole is. Once the ball is on the green, the player putts the ball into the hole. Depending on the location<\/strong>, and whether\u00a0you have the time or energy, an 18 hole course may be available. Pitch and putt is a great way to teach young ones the most important part of golf.<\/span><\/p>\n
