It branches out into several ideal routes that lead to many attractive <strong>skate<\/strong> spots, and finally to <strong>Pla\u00e7a de les Drassanes<\/strong>, another popular Barcelona square. After enjoying a solid session around Espanya, head towards the cyclist zone of <strong>Av. del Parallel<\/strong>, which will take you straight to Drassanes on a single uninterrupted road. Warning: Look out for the cyclists!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You might want to check out the <strong>Parallel skate park<\/strong> located a few blocks before Pla\u00e7a de les Drassanes.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Route_2_Placa_dEspanya_-_Placa_de_Catalunya\"><\/span>Route 2: Pla\u00e7a d\u2019Espanya &#8211; Pla\u00e7a de Catalunya:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can consider <strong>Pla\u00e7a de Catalunya<\/strong> to be the center of Barcelona since it can lead you to basically anywhere your average tourist would want to take a selfie at.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you choose to start your journey at <strong>Placa d\u2019Espanya<\/strong>, head towards<strong> Gran Via<\/strong>. This road is simply stunning to <strong>skate<\/strong> on no matter the season due to the ever-changing colours of the trees on this path.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/6810809708_de04d049c3_c.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-62831\"><img class=\"wp-image-62831 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/6810809708_de04d049c3_c-300x182.jpg\" alt=\"6810809708_de04d049c3_c\" width=\"340\" height=\"206\" \/><\/a>Towards the end of the route, you will encounter a cluster of the finest <strong>skate<\/strong> spots Barcelona can offer: <strong>Universitat<\/strong>, <strong>Auditory Bank<\/strong>, and the illustrious <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.macba.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MACBA<\/a><\/strong> (The Barcelona museum of contemporary art and the <strong>skateboarding<\/strong> capital of Europe). These spots have been made famous by several influential characters in <strong>skateboarding<\/strong> history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pla\u00e7a Catalunya, on the other hand, is more of a cruiser-friendly area where you can just ride around looking at the landmarks and hoping you don&#8217;t hit a pigeon or a tourist.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Route_3_Placa_de_les_Drassanes_-_Ciutadella_-_Marbella_-_Forum\"><\/span>Route 3: Pla\u00e7a de les Drassanes &#8211; Ciutadella &#8211; Marbella &#8211; Forum:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Possibly the longest and most exciting of all routes in which you can imagine yourself being in an old school beach-side <strong>skater<\/strong> movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Firstly, head towards <strong>Passeig de Colom<\/strong>, under the giant crab (yes you read that right) and onto <strong>Passeig de Joan de Borb\u00f3<\/strong> until you reach <strong>Barceloneta<\/strong> beach, one of the city\u2019s most exotic and satisfying cruising spots.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next, after reaching the beach, head in the direction opposite to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.w-barcelona.com\/?PS=LGEN_AA_DEMA_CGGL_TPRP&amp;SWAQ=7M96\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Hotel W<\/a><\/strong> and follow the trail of palm trees and bikini models until you reach <strong>Ciutadella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/17775376040_1d5aa76dc1_c.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-62832\"><img class=\"wp-image-62832 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/17775376040_1d5aa76dc1_c-300x149.jpg\" alt=\"17775376040_1d5aa76dc1_c\" width=\"433\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a>Once at Ciutadella, grab a quick drink (preferably a can of Guarana) and go in the direction of the nightclubs and take<strong> Av. del Litora<\/strong><strong>l<\/strong>, passing by the notorious<strong> beach flat-bars<\/strong>, until you reach <strong>Marbella Skate Park<\/strong>. This park is an excellent place to practice bowls and catch up on your Catalonian slang.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The route will finally lead you to <strong>For\u00f9m<\/strong>, an industrial free-space and a safe haven for all skaters. For\u00f9m consists of a gigantic smooth exterior area with astounding landscape views, and a semi-interior area covered by a metallic mirror ceiling. In this semi-interior area exists a small, yet memorable, <strong>skate<\/strong> spot locally known as the <strong>Silver Wall<\/strong>.
