The building was renovated by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, opening his doors in February of 2002.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CaixaForum<\/strong> was founded with the goal of offering the public access to art, culture, architecture and education. The center has a permanent exhibit that can be visited for free, in which visitors can learn about the process that transformed the old textile factory into the modern cultural space. <strong>CaixaForum<\/strong> also receives a variety of temporary exhibits featuring paintings, illustrations, sculpture, handicraft, audiovisual displays and installation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the most popular exhibitions featured in <strong>CaixaForum<\/strong> was \u201cPixar, 25 years of animation\u201d, showcasing a collection of original illustrations, short films and 3D models of all the favorite characters of the Pixar world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CaixaForum<\/strong> is located at Avinguda de Francesc Ferer i Gu\u00e0rdia, 6-8, right by Fira de Barcelona and MNAC.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CosmoCaixa_Barcelona\"><\/span><strong>CosmoCaixa Barcelona<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmocaixa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>CosmoCaixa Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is a science museum that was founded in the eighties.
