is a tradition that comes from Catholicism, inspired by the passage in The Bible where three kings from the Far East arrive to Jerusalem to worship the newborn Christ.<\/p>\n<div Jerusalem, until they found the baby\u2019s barn.&nbsp;The <strong>three kings<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Melchior, an older king from Persia sporting white hair and beard<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gaspar, a king from India with brown hair and beard<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Balthasar, a dark-skinned king from Arabia with a black resin used in incense and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/perfume\/\"><strong>perfumes<\/strong><\/a>, gold, and myrrh, also an aromatic plant resin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>three Wise Men<\/strong> are beloved by the Spanish people, particularly the younger ones, since they continue to pay visits and leaving them <strong>gifts<\/strong>. Barcelona\u2019s usually starts in the middle of the afternoon at <strong>Port Vell<\/strong>, because the kings are, of course, <strong>arriving in Barcelona by boat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are greeted by the Mayor, make a small speech and then the parade starts.
