It is a modern and very hot genre in literature right now, with stories that are usually set in an alternate historical version of nineteenth-century British Victorian era, or the American Wild West.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>steampunk<\/strong> fashion doesn\u2019t have any particular rules, but it is heavily influenced by the Victorian era, often featuring corsets, petticoats, bustles, top hats, tailcoats, and military-inspired garments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Madame Chocolat <\/strong>is a dream come true for all the girls who love the <strong>steampunk<\/strong> style, where they can find intricate dresses, long and short skirts, ruffled shirts, gorgeous jackets, cool t-shirts, sexy and bad-ass corsets and shoes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But the store also offers other styles of clothing. <strong>Lolita<\/strong> is a more feminine and delicate style, with brighter colors and extra ruffles;\u00a0<strong>Gothic<\/strong> focuses on darker themes and colors; <strong>Punk and Visual Kei<\/strong> offers irreverent patterns and messages and pops of red color, and <strong>Fairy Kei &amp; Harajuku <\/strong>and <strong>Gyaru<\/strong> have a lot of pink and a variety of fun designs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Related articles:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/best-local-brands-in-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Best local brands in Barcelona<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides the clothes, <strong>Madame Chocolat<\/strong> sells Japanese books and magazines, makeup, socks and stockings, and a very interesting selection of hats and hair accessories, including the horns from the movie \u201cMaleficent\u201d. The establishment also has a room dedicated to events, particularly those related to the styles represented by its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/vintage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">clothing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Madame Chocolat<\/strong> has an online store where you can browse and purchase items, but I recommend you pay a visit to the store, so you can experience the <strong>steampunk\/goth<\/strong> universe live.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Madame Chocolat<\/strong> is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, and 5 to 8:30 pm. The store is located at Carrer de Bail\u00e8n, 12, just off of Passeig de Sant Joan.
