There are pieces that used to belong to lavish bourgeois houses, pieces that used to on the streets and works from private collections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Museu del Modernismo Barcelona <\/strong>aims to educate visitors about the Catalan modernist movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Museu del Modernismo Barcelona<\/strong> organizes a series of activities for people of all ages, so they can get closer to the artistic world and learn in a fun way, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmbcn.cat\/activitats\/musica-al-museu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>M\u00fasica al Museu<\/strong>,<\/a> a program that brings concerts to the museum every Saturday at 7 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The museum also offers a variety of classes and conferences about Art History, taught and presented by art experts and professions.\u00a0 Children can also have fun at <strong>Museu del Modernismo Barcelona<\/strong>, by taking a workshop, like the Christmas-themed workshop where they get to create a piece of stained glass.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the museum\u2019s activities take place out on the streets, such as walking tours in which visitors can get to know Barcelona\u2019s modernist constructions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guided visits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Museu del Modernismo Barcelona<\/strong> offers guided visits for groups, to the permanent or temporary exhibit. The guided visits are free, taking place the first Sunday of the month at 12 pm. The language used during the guided visit is usually Catalan, but it can be changed upon request.
