The foundation\u2019s collection is made of works donated by the artist and his wife, such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, books and engravings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Antoni T\u00e0pies<\/strong> is located at Carrer Arag\u00f3, 255.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Teatro-Museu_Dali\"><\/span><strong>Teatro-Museu Dali<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salvador-dali.org\/en\/museums\/dali-theatre-museum-in-figueres\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum<\/a><\/strong> was created by <strong>Salvador Dal\u00ed<\/strong> himself, incorporating the ruins of the old Figueres municipal theatre, which was destroyed in a fire. The <strong>museum<\/strong> first opened its doors in 1974, and is considered today the world\u2019s largest surrealist object. The artist received several awards during his lifetime, like the first prize at \u00a0Concurso Nacional de Escultura (1924), Gran Cruz from Ordem Civil de Alfonso X (1951), and Creu de Sant Jordi from Generalitat de Catalu\u00f1a (1982).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Frederic Mar\u00e8s Museum<\/strong> was founded in 1948 in an old palace that used to belong to one of Barcelona\u2019s counts.
