This bronze <strong>sculpture<\/strong> represents a large, chubby cat, and is today a famous part of the history of Barcelona<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find <strong>El Gato<\/strong>\u00a0at Rambla del Raval.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"El_Caballo\"><\/span><strong>El Caballo <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you were paying attention when you arrived at Barcelona El Prat airport, you have already seen this piece. Present in Terminal 2 since 1992, this chunky, funny-looking horse has been the greeter of millions of tourists who exit the sliding doors after collecting their luggage.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meditacion\"><\/span><strong>Meditaci\u00f3n<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Meditation<\/em> is a <strong>statue<\/strong> created by sculptor Josep Granyer, representing a sitting bull in the same position as Rodin\u2019s The Thinker. The <strong>statue<\/strong> was inaugurated in Barcelona in 1972, created as a parody of Rodin\u2019s famous piece.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find <strong>Meditaci\u00f3n<\/strong> at Rambla Catalunya.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Coqueta\"><\/span><strong>Coqueta<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There\u2019s nothing more delightful than to meet a giraffe that flirts with you. Or at least that is what Josep Granyer thought when he created this piece, also installed in Barcelona in 1972.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find the flirting giraffe at the end of Rambla Catalunya, reaching Avinguda Diagonal.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Peix\"><\/span><strong>Peix<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/094d7cd5d711c9fd314249e23443bea9.jpg\"><img class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-59494\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/094d7cd5d711c9fd314249e23443bea9-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"094d7cd5d711c9fd314249e23443bea9\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a> <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Peix<\/strong> (Fish) is a giant golden <strong>statue<\/strong> of a fish created by <strong>Frank Gehry\u00a0<\/strong>for Barcelona in 1992. The stainless steel <strong>sculpture<\/strong> is fifty six meters long and thirty five meters high. It has become one of the city\u2019s most beloved landmarks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can\u00a0find Frank Gehry\u2019s massive <strong>sculpture<\/strong> between Hotel Arts and the Mapfre Tower at the Olympic Marina.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mamut\"><\/span><strong>Mamut<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mamut (Mammoth) is a large stone <strong>statue<\/strong> created by Miquel Dalmau. With its large size and its realistic colors, the <strong>statue<\/strong> fascinates those who visit Parc de la Ciutadella for the very first time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mamut can be found in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/parc-ciutadella-walk-about-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Parc de la Ciutadella<\/a><\/strong>, close to the main fountain.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"El_Drac\"><\/span><strong>El Drac<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El Drac<\/strong> is a large dragon <strong>statue<\/strong> by artist Andr\u00e9s Nagel that doubles as a slide for kids to play in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find the playful dragon at Parque de la Espa\u00f1a Industrial<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Gambrinus\"><\/span><strong><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-59432 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/7530764900_a328652975_b-300x247.jpg\" alt=\"art barcelona\" width=\"300\" height=\"247\" \/>Gambrinus<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This enormous friendly-looking prawn with lobster claws was created in 1989 by Valencian artist Javier Mariscal for the Gambrinus bar. Years later, the bar is gone, but the smiling lobster remains, greeting passersby.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find <strong>Gambrinus <\/strong>at Passeig Colom.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Perro_hambriento\"><\/span><strong>Perro hambriento<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the most haunting <strong>statues<\/strong> in Barcelona is the one that represents a skinny abandoned dog.
