Spanish, one of the most beautiful and most studied languages by many all around the world.<\/p>\n

For those of you who are about to embark on a journey to Barcelona to learn the beautiful language of Spanish<\/strong>, I highly recommend studying at a language school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Learning-Spanish-Online-Vs.-Abroad-imagen-by-keepcalm-o-matic-257x300\"<\/a>This city is becoming less Spanish and more Catalan, and independent of Spain.\u00a0As such, people tend to speak a mix of Castellano<\/strong> (Spanish) and Catalan<\/strong> (language of the\u00a0region of Catalonia) around this city.<\/p>\n

The best way to learn Spanish<\/strong> in this city is not on the street, but rather\u00a0in one of the Cervantes Institute<\/strong> accredited language schools<\/strong>. There is a list of many language schools<\/strong> throughout the city, some good, some not so good, however if you come from the EU<\/strong>, you don’t have to worry about residency and getting a student visa. If you are not from the EU, and you want to stay for an extended period of time in Barcelona, the Cervantes accredited language schools<\/strong> permit a student visa and temporary residency here in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Taking classes in a\u00a0language school<\/strong> was the first step in creating my new life here in Barcelona, making friends both seasonal and permanent.<\/p>\n
