Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera<\/strong> is one of the four neighborhoods that form the district of Ciutat Vella<\/strong><\/a>. This is one of the oldest areas of the city, which also means it is one of the areas with the most history in the city. The neighborhood is formed by what used to be three different areas, one was Sant Pere, the other Santa Caterina, and the third one, La Ribera.<\/p>\n

Today, the neighborhood of<\/strong> Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera<\/strong><\/span> is one of the hippest and most fashionable neighborhoods in Barcelona<\/strong>, famously known as \u201cEl Born\u201d<\/strong>, despite El Born<\/strong> being only a specific area inside the neighborhood, surrounding the Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.<\/p>\n
