You might be sold there, but wait, there&#8217;s more! The owner\u00a0is one of the kindest and friendliest I have met in Barcelona. Ever-attentive, but not obnoxiously so, she pays careful attention to her customers. <strong>Amalias<\/strong> is small, but wonderfully open, with white walls, minimal interior decoration, a sweet sugary aroma, a handful of outlets, and great internet\u00a0connection. The coffee is excellent, and they have soy and lactose-free milk options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Carrer del Comte d&#8217;Urgell, 132<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Metro: <\/strong>Urgell or Hospitalet<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cafe_Cometa\"><\/span><strong>Cafe Cometa<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>ambiance<\/strong> in this restaurant\/caf\u00e9 is so perfect you may find yourself spending the entire day there! With walls decorated with local artwork, pastel colors, and mismatch refurbished furniture, <strong>Cafe Cometa<\/strong> is a gem in the blossoming neighborhood of Sant Antoni. The coffee is delicious, and\u00a0they also have wonderful juices and an assortment of small plates and salads.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location: <\/strong>Carrer del Parlament, 20<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Metro: <\/strong>Poble Sec<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Caravelle\"><\/span><strong>Caravelle<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<strong>Caravelle<\/strong> <img class=\"size-medium wp-image-58721 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/12167365_10207563712349213_709344404_n-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"12167365_10207563712349213_709344404_n\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/>is top on the list when it comes to interior design and cozy cafe. This Australian-run restaurant has fame amongst the food bloggers and hipsters crawling in the streets of Raval, and for good reason! Apart from some of the\u00a0best brunching in the\u00a0city, there is great coffee with oat milk, free <strong>WiFi,<\/strong> and <strong>good service<\/strong>. It is not the fastest service, but the chefs are phenomenal and incredibly talented, and the waiters are attentive\u00a0and speak English! A kind and an attentive wait-staff? Free <strong>WiFi?<\/strong> A wonderful terrace for Sunday morning brunch? You&#8217;re in luck, because they have ALL OF IT.\u00a0Although they are competitors of the super busy and popular Oma Bistro, I will always go to <strong>Bread and Coffee<\/strong>, just because the service is so much more enjoyable. They have Wi-Fi, outlets, and the best Caprese focaccia I may have ever had in my life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Carrer Consell De Cent, 225<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Metro: <\/strong>Urgell<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_Crocante\"><\/span><b>La Crocante<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d5041939-Reviews-Crocante_Restaurant-Barcelona_Catalonia.html\">La Crocante<\/span><\/b> is one of THE spots to <strong>bring your laptop<\/strong>, enjoy great coffee and delicious\u00a0pastries, accompanied by <strong>friendly staff, Wi-Fi<\/strong>, and an ample amount of outlets. Their motto is <strong>homemade meals<\/strong>, and their empanadas and bizcohcos speak for the quality of their products. The best part about this place is the location and the tranquil clientele, tucked away on the peaceful and local street of Sant Pere Mes Alt. Tucked in one of the most perfect plazas in all of Barcelona, <strong>Vila de Gracia<\/strong>, you will find an ambiance that was designed for good coffee,\u00a0cozy days, peace and quiet, and an assortment of delicious and healthy homemade pastries. The waiters and waitresses there are very attentive in contrast with the laid-back environment.\u00a0On top of the superb interior decoration, <strong>the terrace<\/strong> is in one of the most quaint plazas in La Vila de Gracia. Inside or outside, <strong><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d6452361-Reviews-Nabucco_Tiramisu-Barcelona_Catalonia.html\">Nabucco Tiramisu<\/span><\/strong> has been one of my favorite cafes to\u00a0get some writing or reading done since I moved here, a year ago.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span class=\"street-address\">Location: <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"street-address\">Placa de la Vila de Gracia, 8<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span class=\"street-address\">Metro: <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"street-address\">Diagonal<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Onna_Cafe\"><\/span><strong>Onna Cafe<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although this list is in alphabetical order, I did actually save the best for last. I do not exaggerate when I say <strong>Onna Cafe<\/strong> is THE BEST coffee in Barcelona. With<strong> in-house roasted coffee beans<\/strong>, the little cafe is filled with a pungent aroma, and for once, the beans are not burnt! They have lactose-free milk options, healthy and multi-grain bocadillos, a great spot in the perfect neighborhood of Gracia, and of course, Wi-Fi and service. The waitstaff speak English and are extremely helpful.
