event whose name is an acronym for \u201cConcurso de Saltos Internaional Oficial\u201d (International Official Jumping Competition), which later changed its name to <strong>Concurso Internacional de height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Celebrated in September, the event usually receives around 90 contestants and 170 horses from all over the world.\u00a0Some of the names participating this year are Edwina Tops-Alexander, from Australia, Judy-Ann Melchior, from Belgium, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, from Brazil, and Emma Augier de Mouassac, from the Czec Republic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year the<strong> CSIO<\/strong> is celebrating its 104th international jumping competition, which will happen between the 24<sup>th<\/sup> and the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of September, at <strong>Real Club de Polo de Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event will receive eighteen teams from Europe, North America, Central America, South America, Middle East, Asia, Australia and Africa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>competition<\/strong> starts on Thursday the 24<sup>th <\/sup>of September at 12 pm with the Coca-Cola Trophy, finishing on Sunday, the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of September, with the Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There will also be <strong>Equestrian Shows<\/strong> happening during the competition days:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SEAT will present an <strong>equestrian ballet<\/strong> by the Fundaci\u00f3n Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Equestre;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Damm will present Audrey Hasta Luego, a show that will feature a demonstration of <strong>dressage<\/strong> and daring acrobatics;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fedraration_Equestre_Internationale\"><\/span>Fedr\u00e1ration Equestre Internationale<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fedr\u00e1ration Equestre Internationale (FEI) and Furusiyya, the main sponsor of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/air-festival-barcelona-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">event<\/a>, will present a special closing ceremony, with a fusion of light and color in the middle of the show jumping arena.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year, <strong>CSIO<\/strong> will have a Pony Park where children can discover the fantastic world of <strong>ponies.<\/strong> This solidary activity will have all its proceeds sent to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fevillavecchia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Fundaci\u00f3n Oncol\u00f3gica Infantil Enriqueta Villavecchia <\/a><\/strong>(Enriquera Villavecchia Child Cancer Foundation), to support families with children that are receiving treatment and to back research and doctor training.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Marcus_Ehning_mit_For_Germany1.jpg\"><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-58122 alignleft\" 27<sup>th<\/sup> (30\u20ac for the grandstand) or 40\u20ac for the four days.
