The area started becoming more populated with the construction of convents, and soon after, high-class houses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This area was not a part of <strong>Barcelona,<\/strong> but a little town of its own. It was only around 1880, when the district of Eixample started taking shape, that <strong>Gr\u00e0cia<\/strong> became part of <strong>Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, <strong>\u00a0Gr\u00e0cia<\/strong> is considered one of the most interesting districts in the city. It was created as a second home for the Vicens i Montaner family and is today considered <strong>World Heritage<\/strong> by UNESCO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Address: Carrer de les Carolins, 18-24.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cinemas_Verdi\"><\/span>Cinemas Verdi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cines-verdi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Cinemas Verdi<\/strong> <\/a>was inaugurated in the year of 1926 with only one screening room, becoming a multi-room theatre in 1987. This historic cinema is one of the few places where movies are shown in their original language with subtitles, instead of being dubbed in Spanish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Address: Carrer de Verdi, 32.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hotel_Casa_Fuster\"><\/span>Hotel Casa Fuster<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotelcasafuster.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Casa Fuster<\/a><\/strong> is another interesting modernist building in <strong>Gr\u00e0cia<\/strong>, a work by architect Llu\u00eds Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner. There is Plaza de la Libertad, Plaza de la Vila de Gr\u00e0cia, Pla\u00e7a de la Virreina, Pla\u00e7a de Manuel Torrente, Pla\u00e7a de Lesseps, Pla\u00e7a de Rovira i Trias, and Pla\u00e7a d\u2019En Joanic, among others.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Teatreneu\"><\/span>Teatreneu<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teatreneu.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Teatreneu<\/a><\/strong> opened its doors in 1988 in the former Cooperativa de Consum dels Teixidors a M\u00e0 building.
