The project was commissioned to <strong>Llu\u00eds Dom\u00eanech I Montaner<\/strong>, one of the most important <strong>Art Noveau<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/important-catalan-architects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">architects<\/a> of the time. The hospital was inaugurated in 1930.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/14253418205_1bb2e25263_z.jpg\"><img class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-54929\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/14253418205_1bb2e25263_z-243x300.jpg\" alt=\"hsp\" width=\"243\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>In 2009, <strong>Hospital de Santa Creu I Pau<\/strong> opened new installations, better prepared for the practice of modern medicine and the vacant <strong>Art Noveau<\/strong> <strong>complex<\/strong> began a restoration process.
