Inaugurated in 1997, the Erotic Museum<\/span> of Barcelona<\/strong> aspires to share the culture and history of eroticism with the world.<\/p>\n

\"erotic2\"<\/a>Pin-up culture: <\/strong>images of American girls from the 60\u2019s posing in a sexy manner, like Marilyn Monroe <\/strong>in the famous Tom Kelly calendar photo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Oriental eroticism<\/strong>: images representing sex in Japanese art.<\/p>\n

Erotic Picasso:<\/strong> two engravings representing the feminine nude and explicit sex themes.<\/p>\n

Phallic tradition:<\/strong> a large collection of phalluses from Thailand that represent fertility, eroticism, power and divine protection.<\/p>\n

Private erotic video collection of King Alfonso XIII:<\/strong> short films from the beginning of the Spanish pornographic cinema.<\/p>\n

World cultures: <\/strong>a series of drawings, popular art and cult objects that represent human sexuality in different cultures of the world.<\/p>\n

Ancient civilizations:<\/strong> a trip into sexuality in ancient times.<\/p>\n

Contemporary and temporary exhibitions:<\/strong> photography, painting and sculptures from the twentieth and the twenty-first century.<\/p>\n

\"Marilyn\"<\/a>The museum is open every day of the year from 10h to 24h. Tickets cost 9\u20ac<\/strong>, 8\u20ac<\/strong> if you are a student, a senior or a disabled person.<\/p>\n

You can find the Museu de l\u2019erotica Barcelona<\/a><\/strong> at La Rambla, number 96, right in front of the Boqueria market.<\/p>\n

To reach the museum you can use the green<\/strong> line <\/strong>(L3) or red line<\/strong> (L1) of the subway<\/strong>, stopping at Liceu <\/strong>(L3) or Pla\u00e7a Catalunya<\/strong>(L1). You can also use buses<\/strong> number 14, 59, 91 or take the train<\/strong> stopping at Pla\u00e7a Catalunya<\/strong> and walking the rest of the way.<\/p>\n
