A couple of <strong>vegetarian<\/strong> and <strong>vegan<\/strong> restaurants have suitable products available for the vegan diet, as do the more upmarket bakeries. Barcelona, in fact, is a land of bakeries. However, she does offer a line in vegan products, amidst the tuna baguettes and traditional cupcakes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wednesday is the best day to go, as this is the day that Daniela bakes fresh vegan items such as cookies, <strong><a title=\"Cupcakes in Barcelona\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/top-cupcake-locations-in-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cupcakes<\/a><\/strong>, brownies and carrot cake \u2013 all fresh from her oven and containing ingredients such as rice flour, coconut oil or organic margarine and sweetened with organic brown sugar or agave syrup.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Juice_House\"><\/span>Juice House<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A very new addition to the increasingly popular and gentrified Carrer Parlament in the neighbourhood of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/eixample\/sant-antoni\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Sant Antoni<\/strong><\/a>, Juice House is a lovingly run establishment where the onus is on good quality and healthy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite the name, <strong>Juice House<\/strong> is way more than that, serving <strong><a title=\"Healthy breakfasts in Barcelona\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/breakfast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">breakfast<\/a> <\/strong>and full meals that are made from organic products and with raw vegan dishes \u2013 a rare find in Spain. Sadly, only a few of their items\u00a0are <strong>vegan-friendly,<\/strong> but what they do have is delicious and also of a very high quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At <strong>Crusto<\/strong> they also serve fresh juices of orange, apple, carrot or celery if you want to ignore the hideous display of baked produce and they serve gorgeous teas in proper <a title=\"Food &amp; Drink \u2013 Caj Chai \u2013 authentic teashop in Barcelona\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/food-drink-caj-chai-authentic-teashop-in-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">teapots<\/a> with fine china tea cups.\u00a0The inside is gorgeous: bright, airy, beautifully laid out and industrious.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Old grey and white tiles line the floor and a giant mirror sits against an exposed brick wall. A massive clock is suspended from the ceiling on a chain like a pocket watch for Gargantua.\u00a0There are some lovely old and lovingly battered wrought iron and marble tables at which to eat with a long bench along one wall and there is a terrace of several small tables outside for warmer days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No Wi-Fi, so people go to Crusto just to drink tea and eat pastries and chat. Imagine that? No <strong><a title=\"FREE WIFI LOCATIONS IN BARCELONA\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/free-wifi-locations-in-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wi-Fi<\/a><\/strong>?! Crusto has several locations in Barcelona: in the districts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/les-corts\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Les Corts<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/eixample\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Eixample<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/sarria-sant-gervasi\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Sarria-Sant Gervasi<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lujuria_Vegana_Bakery\"><\/span>Lujuria Vegana Bakery<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is a \u00a0little misleading as <strong>Lujuria<\/strong> used to be but is no longer, a bakery in itself. Lujuria <strong>vegan<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>friendly<\/strong> products are now it appears only available inside Pujol<strong>,<\/strong> a very small and traditional bakery located in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/ciutat-vella\/raval\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>El Raval<\/strong><\/a>, 10 minutes walk from <strong><a title=\"Las Ramblas \u2013 the heart of Barcelona\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/las-ramblas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Rambla<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pujol is a curious little shop with very few items for sale, but it does stock a very small selection\u00a0of Lujuria\u2019s vegan sweets. Expect to find chocolate brownies, a ginger cake and a lemon cake.
