The Barcelona Official Store, or Botega is the store for Futbol Club Barcelona football team. There are about five of them around the city with the most prominent and well known one being located right in the center of the city at the top of Plaza Catalunya.<\/p>\n

The shop is there to sell the team\u2019s official memorabilia. They have everything that you could imagine a shop which supports a team would have. They sell footballs, jerseys, headbands, bandanas and flags. However, they also sell things like watches, towels and all sorts of other non-football related items. When if comes to supporting the best team in the world though, this doesn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n

Visitors come from far and wide to get a piece of the team they love. It\u2019s actually gotten to the point where the shop has become a tourist attraction in and of itself. When the team dos well, you better believe that the Barcelona Official Store does very well. Something that we always need to remember is that only official FCB dealers have the real gear.<\/p>\n

There are many places around the city which deal in imitation Team Barcelona items. When holding and official and an imitation jersey together for example, it\u2019s clear to see the flaws in the imitation. Paints are used instead of embroidery, logos are missing or in the wrong place and often the fabric is made out of a very shoddy material.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s worse is that some of these imitation dealers are cheeky enough to try to sell these items at the same price as that of the gear in the official shop. Every year unsuspecting tourists fall ill to this, most of them never knowing until their new jersey starts falling apart at the seams.<\/p>\n
