During the time you are visiting it is best to arrange as many appointments as possible to view apartments for rent. This way you can get a better feel for what is available and what really suits your tastes and needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Along with arranging accommodation<\/a> another thing you may want to consider doing especially if you intend to remain in Barcelona for a number of years is to open a Spanish bank account. Contact the university where you are going to be studying, as they may be able to provide you with details of the banks that they have agreements with that allow you to open an account more easily. <\/span><\/p>\n

If the university cannot provide you with details of such then I would highly recommend you arrange to go to the likes of La Caixa or Caixa Cataluyna to get an account opened. <\/span><\/p>\n
