Rather he sees her as a \u201cpersonification of a cat\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Although when you walk into either of the two Hello Kitty stores in Barcelona you will notice that their target audience seems to be pre-adolescent girls. In fact, you\u2019ll find many adults also wanting to purchase items from here for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Both of the stores in Barcelona stock a wide range of different products that have been created with Hello Kitty on display. They range from supplies for school through to fashion accessories. Plus also you may find that if you are lucky they also have in stock several of the more high-end consumer items that are now becoming extremely popular. Without stores like this then the opportunity to make more friends wouldn\u2019t have been possible and has certainly helped the company to earn over $7 billion each year.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_is_Hello_Kitty_so_popular\"><\/span>Why is Hello Kitty so popular?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>However what really is making Hello Kitty increasingly popular with the Spanish market and which you will notice when you visit the stores in Barcelona is that a new collection has been created. But this one isn\u2019t by the companies own design team but rather by Javier Mariscal. He has come up with six designs that will help to commemorate 400 years of bilateral exchanges that have been taking place between Spain and Japan.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"wp-image-11094 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Image-11-e1475497553114-300x213.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" \/>Along with designing a \u201cSmiling Kitty\u201d, Javier has also created one that is referred to as part of the \u201cPicasso\u201d range. Along with actual figurines, there are hundreds of other products that follow the designs created by Javier. These will initially be for sale in Japan but it shouldn\u2019t be too long before they start making their way into stores including the Hello Kitty in Barcelona ones over the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be kept abreast of what is happening when it comes to this particular product in Barcelona then, of course, visiting their website is a great idea. Plus if you do live in Barcelona then regular visits to their stores the first of which is situated in Pla\u00e7a Catalunya and the second one is to be found on Avenida Diagonal.
