As, no physical contact is allowed, <strong>the <\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>offices must be closed to the publ<\/strong>ic<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>Can I make flat visits?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>No.<\/strong> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">As in the previous case, any activity involving maintaining some type of physical contact isn\u2019t within the permitted activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>What about if a contract come to an end?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In the Royal Decree Law nothing has been mentioned about contractual relations. In this regard, it is under the <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">criteria of interpretation and willingness of the parties to reach an agreement<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">. However, in Additional Provision 4 of the Decree, all limitation periods for all actions and rights are suspended for the duration of the State of emergency and its extensions. The most recommendable, in any case, and following the recommendations of the authorities, is that the parties <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">agree to <strong>postpone the deadlines until the same authorities allow their usual activity to continue<\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">What about administrative and procedural deadlines?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">As the State of emergency is in force, all procedural and administrative deadlines, in all judicial orders, <strong>are <\/strong><\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">suspended<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Can I make an appointment with a notary?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In these circumstances, <strong>notaries shall only act in emergency situations<\/strong>, which may be communicated by e-mail or telephone. <\/span>T<span lang=\"en-US\">he <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Consejo General del Notariado<\/span><\/strong> <span lang=\"en-US\">has advised <\/span>to reduce the amount of<span lang=\"en-US\"> authori<\/span>z<span lang=\"en-US\">ation of notary documents<\/span> with the exception of <span lang=\"en-US\">serious <\/span>cases<span lang=\"en-US\"> or <\/span>for those that cannot<span lang=\"en-US\"> be postponed, such as sickness<\/span> cases<span lang=\"en-US\">. <\/span>In any case, the health measures recommended by the competent authorities shall be respected.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>Can I sign a contract?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>No.<\/strong> As we mentioned earlier, the act of free movement and assembly is not possible at this time, and therefore <strong>the signatures of contracts requiring such actions must be postponed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>Can I sign an e-signature contract?<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Yes,<\/strong> provided that all parties have the <strong>necessary resources<\/strong> to do so. For an <strong>electronic signature<\/strong> to be valid it must be made through formats prepared specifically for this purpose. We take this opportunity to remind you that a scanned document is not valid.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #850909;\"><strong>Should I deposit the bond within the agreed time frame?<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Because the administrative and procedural time limits have been suspended, <strong>the bonds must not be deposited within the time limit<\/strong>.
