It is in the upper part of the city, near the <strong>Rondas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/sarria-sant-gervasi\/sarria\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>neighbourhood of Sarri\u00e0<\/strong><\/a> is a residential area, but its central and oldest part consists of characteristic, narrow streets. These streets are mostly pedestrian and full of shops, like clothing stores, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sarri\u00e0 is an <strong>upper-middle-class<\/strong> neighbourhood, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/falling-rental-prices-barcelona\/\"><strong>prices<\/strong><\/a> here quite high. There is a good network of buses, and it connects Sarri\u00e0 with other districts in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The area also enjoys several <strong>FCG<\/strong> stops, and this is a railway network that is similar to the metro. It connects certain areas within Barcelona with the city centre and other Catalan towns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The neighbourhood of <strong>Sarri\u00e0<\/strong> is quiet, although it can be busier during the day because of its commercial offer. As Sarri\u00e0 is farther from the centre of the city and real estate prices are quite high, the neighbourhood is <strong>very family-oriented<\/strong>. It is near the <strong>Avenida Diagonal<\/strong>, which is one of Barcelona\u2019s entry and exit roads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are many shopping options in this neighbourhood, like shopping centre <strong>l&#8217;Illa Diagonal<\/strong> and chain store <strong>El Corte Ingl\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les Corts is a wealthy, upper-middle-class zone. It houses the <strong><em>Zona Universitaria de la Ciudad Condal<\/em><\/strong>, which is Barcelona\u2019s university area with most of the faculties of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/ub\/en\/index.html?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"broken_link\"><strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> (UB) and the <strong>Polytechnic University of Barcelona<\/strong> (UPC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are also many companies here, so many people travel to Les Corts for their work during the day, do their thing and then leave in the evening. Located between the districts of <strong>Sarri\u00e0-Sant Gervasi<\/strong> and <strong>Horta-Guinard\u00f3<\/strong>, Vallcarca borders the neighbourhoods of <strong>El Putxet<\/strong> and <strong>La Teixonera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is mainly a <strong>residential area<\/strong>, it is very peaceful, and there are few commercial zones, except for <strong>Calle Rep\u00fablica Argentina<\/strong>. This street is actually on the border of Vallcarca and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/sarria-sant-gervasi\/putxet-farro\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>El Putxet<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vallcarca is an upper-middle-class neighbourhood, and you can find old residential buildings here, but also more recently constructed homes. Some of them even are luxury homes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The area is well-connected by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/public-transport\/\"><strong>public transport<\/strong><\/a>, with several metro and bus stop, connecting Vallcarca to other parts of the city, including the city centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides the previously mentioned characteristics, there are several green zones near Vallcarca, and especially people who long to live in a quiet part of the city, but who still want to be able to travel to the centre
