{"id":10003,"date":"2014-09-10T11:49:29","date_gmt":"2014-09-10T09:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/?p=10003"},"modified":"2022-02-14T12:19:13","modified_gmt":"2022-02-14T11:19:13","slug":"nightlife-in-barcelona-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/nightlife-in-barcelona-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Nightlife In Barcelona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first thing you\u2019ll learn after spending even one day in Barcelona is that this city like most in Spain doesn\u2019t sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Not only do the Spanish tend to eat meals later in the evening but also tend to go out and enjoy themselves much later as well.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignright wp-image-10004 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Barcelona-Nightlife-e1475145479540-300x198.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/>So at the weekend do not be too surprised when you turn up at a nightclub at 1.00 am to find it still pretty empty, none of them really get going until around 6.00 am.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably why the people of Barcelona enjoy their siestas so much.<\/p>\n<p>In this article of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\"><strong>ShBarcelona<\/strong><\/a> will give some tips and the best places to go to have an unforgettable night!<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll find that the <strong>city\u2019s nightlife<\/strong> is very much in keeping with the rest of what it has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>Even for those of you who are really into clubbing, you may find it worth your while going to at least one nightclub to see what is on offer.<\/p>\n<p>Plus now you\u2019ll find that there are plenty of \u201clounge clubs\u201d now springing up around Barcelona that allow you to enjoy a drink or two whilst just chilling.<\/p>\n<p>Generally what you\u2019ll find that the prices charged do vary from club to club and some often allow free entry.<\/p>\n<p>However this is usually before a certain time, normally this tends to be before 1.00 am. Also often you\u2019ll see people handing out flyers to certain nightclubs that offer free entry, a free drink or 2 for 1 drinks.<\/p>\n<p>With so many nightclubs to choose from, you\u2019ll find yourself spoilt for choice when it comes to which one to go to. Magic Club<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is to be found in the area of Barcelona known as <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/ciutat-vella\/born-sant-pere-caterina\"><strong>El Born neighborhood<\/strong><\/span>. If you\u2019re not into techno then head over here as this plays some really great indie music instead.<\/p>\n<p>However, at the weekends you\u2019ll find it is a favourite spot for many as it plays lots of 80\u2019s pop, soft rock and the disco classics.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Marula_Cafe\"><\/span>2. Marula Caf\u00e9<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You\u2019ll find this particular nightclub in the city\u2019s <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/barcelona-rent\/ciutat-vella\/gotic\"><strong>Gothic Quarter<\/strong><\/span>, and as become a welcome addition to Barcelona\u2019s club scene.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the smaller clubs as it only has room for 400 people.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does it offer opportunities to local DJ\u2019s to strut their stuff but also arranges for international DJ\u2019s to ply their trade as well.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Barcelona-Nightlife-2.png\"><img class=\"alignright wp-image-10005 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Barcelona-Nightlife-2-300x216.png\" alt=\"Barcelona Nightlife 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"216\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_BLVD_Boulevard\"><\/span>3. BLVD (Boulevard)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Located in El Raval this is one of the city\u2019s most central nightclubs as it is in fact situated right in the centre of the area of the city known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/nightclubs-ramblas\/\"><strong>Las Ramblas<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is it a favourite spot for tourists but is also one that many residents of Barcelona like to hang out at.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Razzmatazz\"><\/span>4.
