Where to buy cheap umbrellas in Barcelona

Are you paying a visit to Barcelona but don’t feel like packing an umbrella? Don’t worry, there are plenty of stores where you can buy one for low prices. If it looks like it’s going to rain during your visit to the city, just pay a visit to one of these stores to find a variety of cheap umbrellas:

Primark

Primark is an Irish clothing retailer that was founded in Dublin in June of 1969. The brand sells contemporary fast fashion at incredibly low prices, attracting millions of customers every year. This popular brand can be found today across Western Europe and the United States, in countries like Portugal, Netherlands, Austria and Belgium.

There are a total of 40 Primark stores in Spain, two of them in Barcelona. Take your time when you decide to pay a visit to one. You may go to look for an umbrella, but you will end up buying more, unable to resist the store’s low prices.

You can find Primark at Diagonal Mar shopping center at Avenida Diagonal Mar 3, and at L’Illa shopping center, at Calle Déu I Mata, 69-99.

Tiger

Tiger is a Danish store that offers items in different sections like party, Christmas, do it yourself, stationery, kids, bath, kitchen, decoration, electronic items and snacks.

Take a walk through the maze-like corridors of the store and fall in love with a million and one items that will make you smile, laugh, go “awww!” or simply “wow, that is a good idea!”. The prices are incredibly low, with a variety of items costing 1 euro, including candy and two-for-one bottles of water.

Tiger has various stores in Barcelona. The ones closest to the center are at Carrer Comtal 32, Carrer de la Portaferrissa 13, Ronda de la Universitat 11, and Carrer del Consell de Cent 341.

Toys R Us

If you want to find a fun umbrella featuring some of your child’s favorite cartoon characters, pay a visit to Toys R Us. This American toy and juvenile products retailer is famous for its enormous stores filled with items that will send the little ones into a frenzy. So if you plan to go in and out only for an umbrella, you better go by yourself, or else you will end up having to explain the kids why you can’t buy all the toys they have picked out on the store.
