The tenth edition of the Let’s Festival, a musical event that brings together the best independent Spanish bands of the moment, is still going on at the Salamandra 1 and 2 rooms in Hospitalet de Llobregat. If you haven’t danced or sung along to Mishima, who opened the festival on March the 6th, Dorian, Els Amics de les Arts, Manos de Topo, releasing their new album, or Cycle, there’s still time to enjoy other great groups until March the 28th. The groups you can still listen
One of the most anticipated events of the festival will be held this Friday March the 20th at the Salamandra 1 room, where the group of Pamplona, El Columpio Asesino, with Nudozurdo and Trajano perform along. The next day, Saturday March the 21th, there are performances on both two rooms of the Salamandra, on the Estrella Damm stage you can listen to Bigott, Sensacional and I Am Dive, and on Let’s Jägermusic stage, to Capsula and Havalina. The following weekend is also full of good music with La Habitación Roja, Grises, Full, El Último Vecino, Pablo Und Destruktion, and José Domingo, on Friday, March the 27th; and Standstill, Nocturnos, Black Islands, La Bien Querida and Hidrogenesse, on March the 28th. A total of 38 artists in 15 concerts, at the affordable price of from 10 to 15 euros per day without having to go out of town.
On previous years that took place this music event some of the most successful bands performed on it as Love of Lesbian, Manel or Vetusta Morla, all regulars of the most important national and international music festivals.
La Sala Salamandra
This concert hall is located in a town framed within the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, called Hospitalet de Llobregat. Opened more than 15 years ago, first with a single room, and now with two separate spaces, the Salamandra 1, at Avenida Carrilet 235, with an area of 1000 square meters and a capacity of 800 people, and Salamandra 2, Avenida Carrilet 301, with a capacity of 500 people and 600 square meters. In both stages and spaces national and international well-known and great musicians have played, and also works as a disco on weekends.
To get to the Salamandra music halls with public transport you can take the Metro Line 1 (red) and get out at Av. Carrilet, next to Salamandra 2. You can also get the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat from Plaça Espanya and get off at Sant Josep station, you will be right in front of the Salamandra 2. Buses 110 and 79 also allows you to get to both halls. You can also get off at another stop not far from the metro line 1 (Rambla Just Oliveras) and the train station of l’Hospitalet.
