Slow Shops are small businesses that support ethical values and bet on controlled local production to promote a conscious shopping experience. There are several slow shops in Barcelona, most of them in the district of Gràcia.

Verdejade is a concept store in Gràcia that offers a selection of lovely items that have been handpicked by the owners. At Verdejade, you will find unique items like dishes decorated with the face of a bored bear, large and small prints by some of the most talented illustrators in Barcelona, cloth cacti, colorful pillows, tote bags, pencil cases, and a variety of decoration items.

Andrea Martínez

Andrea Martínez is a brand of vintage-inspired clothing for women.  The brand was founded in 2007 by designer Andrea Martinez, who creates and produces all of her pieces in Barcelona. Each model created by Andrea Martínez  is produced in limited series.

Rock 01 Cool Baby

Rock 01 Cool Baby is a brand that was created in order to offer an alternative to the kids’ clothes that are offered in chain stores. The brand sells creative clothing and a couple of accessories like beanies with scales, pacifiers with mustaches, Star Wars, Batman and Flash t-shirts and much more.

Matusalén

Matusalén is a furniture repair and home decoration store, where visitors can find unique pieces like leather armchairs, colorful vases, retro lamps, old fashioned tins to store food and more.

Nostalgic

Fans of photography will fall in love with Nostalgic, a cool store that sells photography materials and offers photographic services. At Nostalgic, visitors will find classic cameras, pinhole cameras, Polaroid cameras, and a variety of accessories like film, books, and satchels. Nostalgic has its own cameras and studio available for rental and offers services of film development, retouching, product photography, portrait and camera repair.

Melic

Melic is a brand of clothing and accessories for kids between 0 and 4 years old. Most of the products sold at Melic are produced locally, respecting the environment.
