If you’re in the mood for some old school rock and heavy metal, get yourself to Santa Coloma de Grament this weekend for Rock Fest Barcelona.
During its second edition, the festival will be receiving 32 bands, including rock legends such as the Scorpions, Judas Priest and Twisted Sister.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, July 23rd with Asphyxion, at 5 pm, followed by Rosendo, Sabaton, Dream Theater, Status Quo, Scorpions, Nightwish, Saxon and Wasp, ending at 2.55 am.
Friday the concerts start earlier, with Hamlet opening the show at 1 pm, followed by Entombed AD, Axxis, Brujeria, Nuclear Assault, Desctruction, Powerwolf, Angeles del Infierno, Helloween, Twisted Sister, Europe, Hatebreed and Anihilator, ending at 3 am.
The last day of the festival starts at 1.30 pm wit Angelus Apartida, followed by Battle Beast, Refuge, Primal Fear, LGP, Krokus, Warcry, Loudness, Accept, Judas Priest, Riot V and Venom, ending at 2.55 am.
Ticket prices are 70€ for one day and 140€ for two days. There are also limited edition full colored tickets for the price of 81€ for one day and 155€ for three days.

Rock Fest Barcelona Location
Rock Fest Barcelona will take place at Can Zam Park in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, half an hour away from the center of Barcelona.
If you plan to use public transportation to get to the festival, you can take the orange line (L9) of the subway and exit at Can Zam. The subway works until 12 am during the week, 2 am on Fridays and the whole night on Saturday.
Another option is to get to the festival by bus.
For those who are coming from further away, the festival offers a campsite, located near Montmeló, 14 km away from the festival area. There will be a shuttle bus service to take campers to the concerts and back.
Prices for camping are 15€ per person for the three days or 25€, which includes shuttle bus tickets.
