Today begins in ShBarcelona‘s blog a brand new section that is intended to be monthly to show you the various points of view the people living or visiting Barcelona have through their pictures taken there. We can’t put into words or describe all that Barcelona is, all you can see or feel walking the streets and mingling with people, but we can show you all of these things in some images. This week I’ll show you some pictures I made myself a few years ago about the places we go through thousands of times throughout the year, but where we never stay. They are non-places, spaces for the collective circulation of people or costumers, spaces where anonymous people move around linked only for that precise moment in time, without any interaction, people just waiting or sharing the use of a space. They are spaces of collective loneliness, that’s why I’m attracted to them, because despite being full, they are empty. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are some pictures of these non-places. If you want to share your own photos of Barcelona in this blog and in this new section please sen me an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. All the pictures in www.adrianaconde.com
