LP Bar: Snacks and cocktails in the Gothic Quarter

Written by Miguel

The owners of LP Bar seem aware that success is in the details, a mindset that is evident in their deliciously elaborated pinchos and  cocktails. A small and cosy bar with a youthful vibe, LP is appealing in its decoration and invigorating in its musical choices. With a retro decoration that pays homage to the 60s and 70s and a predilection for funky music, LP Bar is the perfect place to have a midday snack, to relax after work in the afternoon or to start your night with a cold drink before heading to the clubs. This versatility, together with a wide schedule, make it one of the most popular bars in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona amongst both tourists and locals. Whether you’re looking to just chill with friends, have a beer with Javier from accounting or even organize a bachelor party, you really can’t go wrong with LP.

LP Bar specializes in cocktails, so there’s a vast and diverse list for you to choose from. Made with fresh fruits and presented with sophistication, they not only taste good, they feel even better. If you follow our advice (you should!) and pay this awesome bar a visit, we recommend you try their mojito, their caipiroska and definitely their daiquiri – well, maybe not all of them in one sitting. Remember to always drink in moderation! That being said, they do offer several gin & tonic variations that you should try as well…

When it comes to satisfying your hunger, the menu has plenty of traditional pinchos and tapas for you to choose from, always served with LP’s unique twist. Original, rich and varied, their recipes are based on the Mediterranean diet and mix tradition with modernity seamlessly. We particularly recommend their tuna steak tartare and their incredible mashed potatos, which are truly irresistible.
